    I just added the a Citizen Eagle to my collection. It has the identical case, the dial is different. How did you determine the decade when dating yours. The numbers are as follows:

    20401098
    GN-4W-S
    71-2795

    When I bought it the vendor advised that information when I bought it, Herb.
    Unlike Seiko, the serial number on the back of a Citizen watch does not necessarily indicate month/year of manufacture.
